Spring Desert Hike – Day 6

Strong friendships were forged during these days together in the biblical desert.

Today is the sixth day of our trek through the desert, which is slowly coming to an end. Over the last two days, we hiked past the Netafim stream (Nahal Netafim) to Shroret Canyon. Then we climbed Mount Yehoram and Shlomo.

We did get a few raindrops yesterday, but nothing compared to the heavy rains that hit the rest of the country on Shabbat. The night was quite cold, as it usually is in the desert.

We finished our hike on the shores of the Red Sea. The group remains in the highest of spirits, but it is difficult to think that soon we will go our separate ways. Strong friendships were forged during these days together in the biblical desert.

The following photos are from today's hike through the mountains of Eilat.

Greetings from the Red Sea.
