I came across this question while opening the application of the Israeli news portal Mako on my smartphone.
The clever advertisement quickly pulled me in. I don’t typically click on ads, but this headline was just too tempting. When the page opened, I was presented with the question, in Hebrew, “Who is Jesus?” It continued: “We invite you to get to know the most influential person who ever lived, Jesus.” The page also made reference to Einstein, who did not think it possible for science to ever prove God’s existence, and Stephen Hawking, who once acknowledged that such a discovery would be the greatest scientific achievement ever.
The page continued with a series of “frequently asked questions,” such as: Did Jesus rise form the dead? Is Jesus God? Is Jesus still relevant today? Is Jesus the Messiah? Did the apostles believe Jesus...
