Fifteen tons of fresh vegetables are being delivered daily from the Arava Prairie farmers to the need families in Israel for Passover
The Arava is a desert plain running south from the Dead Sea all the way down to Eilat and the mouth of the Red Sea. This is the peak harvest season and famers are gearing up to help families in need starting this week with truckloads of free fresh vegetables.
Fifteen tons of fresh vegetables will be delivered daily to different organizations to bring to families in need. The daily deliveries will take place until Passover eve.
For the needy
A letter written by the youth from Moshav Idan one of the farming communities contributing to the project says: “Dear families, we are happy and thankful for the ability to give even the little as we can. We have collected our best produce and hope you will be happy these days. Have a happy Passover holiday that will bring freedom to all of us. With the love of residents and farmers of Moshav Idan in the middle of the Arava.”
