Israeli media was abuzz on Tuesday over a short video clip filmed by an Iranian blogger showing an Israeli flag hanging from an overpass on a busy Tehran highway.

Along with the flag was a sign in English that read “Thank you Mossad,” an apparent reference to rumors that Israel’s Mossad was behind last month’s assassination of Iran’s top nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

The flag and the provocative message to Mossad were visible to all passing vehicles, and no doubt caused quite a stir in the Iranian capital.
