Three Israeli soldiers were wounded on Monday when a Palestinian Arab driver purposefully slammed his vehicle into them on the side of a main thoroughfare connecting Jerusalem to the Etzion Bloc of Jewish settlements.
The soldiers were protecting road workers at the time of the attack.
The Palestinian driver attempted to flee the scene, but was shot by other nearby soldiers.

The soldiers are all in stable condition, but at least one suffered serious injuries to his extremities.
