Dear friends of Israel Today,

The first quarter of 2022 is almost over, but we don’t want to miss the opportunity to thank you for your support of ADI Israel over the past year.

The charitable organization ADI is dedicated to the well-being of Israelis they serve, who are challenged with various severe disabilities. All of the staff, from the doctors and nurses to the volunteers, the cooks and the cleaning crew, are dedicated to providing the best possible conditions to thrive – just as any parent would provide for their own children. The organization would like to implement an in-house department for respiratory therapy so that the children do not always have to be taken to the hospital in the event of a sudden drop in oxygen saturation in their blood, but can be treated on site. The funds are being collected for this right now – for this dream to be able to soon come true.

Another aim of ADI is to raise Israeli society’s awareness of the needs of people with disabilities. That’s why the ADI residents are always happy for contact, such as visitors coming to their facility, excursions in the town and even participation in the Jerusalem Marathon last October. Volunteers from abroad were also there, helping the children in wheelchairs and in the special “walkers” to take part in the shorter distance events.

With your help, dear readers, ADI can continue to better serve those who need our help most. So thank you very much.

We wish you all a happy, healthy and blessed 2022!
