BBC chief not bothered by inaccurate reporting on Gaza

The mainstream international media no longer even tries to hide its anti-Israel bias. Take for instance Jeremy Bowen, international editor for the BBC, who recently admitted to making mistakes in his reporting on Israel and Gaza, but immediately clarified that he “has no regrets.”

It used to be that inaccurate reporting was very much cause for regret in an industry that prided itself on accuracy and objectivity.

But we are in a new era in regards to the media, the era of moral relativism. And even the most august of legacy media companies are not immune to this dangerous new trend.

On October 17, an explosion rocked the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza. Palestinians immediately blamed Israel and claimed an exaggerated death toll. The BBC claims its coverage of the event was balanced, but like most of the mainstream media, BBC reports quite clearly suggested that Israel had bombed the hospital.

Only it hadn’t. The hospital parking lot had been hit by a failed terrorist rocket launch, and the hospital itself sustained only very minor damage.

Bowen, who was responsible for how the BBC covered this and all other events in Gaza, said he based his reporting on photos he was shown, probably by Palestinian sources. He immediately concluded Israel was at fault. “I was wrong, but I don’t feel bad in particular,” he told another BBC program last week.

“I don’t regret a single thing in my report, because I think I’m measured all the way, I don’t feel bad at all,” continued Bowen.

But he should feel bad.

Not only because of his failure to properly check the facts before publishing, but because the faulty reporting by BBC and others fueled a false narrative that resulted in violent riots in London, Paris and many other cities in North America, Europe and the Middle East.

It also reinforces the realization that anything coming out of the mainstream media must be taken with a grain of salt, as they say. Because the mainstream media itself doesn’t properly fact-check before going to press, readers must take it upon themselves to verify everything they hear and see from the likes of BBC, Sky News, CNN and The New York Times.

If anyone had any sense they would dump their televisions, radios, newspapers, social media platforms because the whole lot is Godless and runs on lies. As some of the old proper Christians would say, It is the devils-vision, and so it is!

As long as lies pay more than truth, those in the liberal/leftist media will always report the lies, it has become, all they know, anymore.
