Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will fly at the end of the month to an important summit with President Donald Trump at the latter’s Mar-a-Lago estate, where he is expected to meet the US president at least twice. Meetings at Mar-a-Lago are also scheduled with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. Netanyahu will stay at Mar-a-Lago from December 28 to January 1, with the first meeting with Trump set for December 29.
From Israel’s perspective, this is a dramatic visit because a whole range of issues are on the table on which it is vitally important to reach agreement with the Americans:
