God offered Israel deliverance from Egypt through the shed blood of a lamb applied to the doorposts of their homes (Exodus 12:7, 13); in the same manner, God offers us deliverance today through the shed blood of His Son, Christ Jesus, applied to our hearts by faith. (Hebrews 1:1-3; 7:25)

I can personally attest to God’s love, His forgiveness of sin, and His protection from evil through the shed blood of His Son, Christ Jesus.
