Leaders often have to make far-reaching decisions with unpredictable consequences. Sometimes it is necessary to choose between two alternatives. A decision may seem correct in the short term but may turn out to be a mistake in the future. Conversely, a decision that appears to be a mistake in the short term can become a strategic success in the long run. Israel mustn’t just look inwardly, a lot of her problems now arise from Gentile powers. Foreign powers locally and internationally have often supported the Palestinian conquest of Israel cause with a disappointing disregard for Messiah’s throne. More thought needs to go in to understanding modern Israel by all its players. Extreme orthodoxy and liberalism need tempered with the right degree of tolerance. Rooting out the worst of ungodliness will require competent political skill to modify legislation even as the world gets worse. Civil partnership not marriage. Abortion not to be used as contraception. Religions to acknowledge the God of Israel before they can serve other gods in Israel. Gentile powers have their history, lessons can be learned from studying what overcame them, especially as Israel often has to deal with them. Israel serves the God who appoints these Gentile powers. (Romans 13:1)

Be careful!
St John. 5/43. I (Jesus Christ) am come in my Father’s (God the Father) name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, (the antichrist) him ye will receive.
