Don’t Forget the Golan and ‘Yesha’

This year we joyously mark 50 years since the reunification of Jerusalem under Israeli rule.

But also liberated in 1967 were the Golan Heights and the biblical heartlands of Judea and Samaria, known colloquially by the acronym Yesha.   Jerusalem is Israel’s heart. That much is true. But regaining these other important areas was no less thrilling, no less a fulfillment of God’s promises.
