
Just as the prophet Ezekiel’s ancient predictions about Israel’s literal revival are currently being fulfilled in the Land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, so too are his prophecies about a future Temple in Jerusalem going to one day materialize. Today, nobody can ignore the modern national, political and military restoration of Israel. Since the late 19th century, the scattered ‘Dry Bones’ of Jewry, as Ezekiel put it, are physically being restored in their ancestral homeland:
“Then you, My people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them…then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land.” (Ezekiel 37:13, 21)
