Two American governors of neighboring states–Illinois and Wisconsin–casually bumped into one another on their respective ways to and from meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Bruce Rauner, the 60-year-old Republican governor of Illinois, is a successful businessman with a personal net wealth estimated at a half-billion dollars. He was in the region to promote trade between Israel and his state. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, 50, was in Israel for much the same reason–trade relations.
