MembersHamas: The new Pharaoh

The thought of Israeli Jewish hostages celebrating Passover in cruel bondage is nothing short of heart-breaking.

Rabbi Gamliel is quoted in the Passover Haggadah, saying, “In every generation, a person must regard himself as though he had personally gone out from Egypt, as it is said: ‘And you shall tell your son on that day, saying, “It is because of what the Lord did for me that I went out of Egypt.”‘ Therefore, it is our duty to thank, praise, laud, glorify, exalt, honor, bless, extol him who performed all these miracles for our ancestors and us: He who brought forth from bondage to freedom, from sorrow into joy, from mourning into festivity and from sorrow into great light.”

Just as every generation of Jews should regard themselves as if they personally left Egypt, each generation should also note that there are various regimes and terror organizations in our world that also carry on the legacy of pharaoh.  One of them is the Hamas terror group, responsible for the massacre, rape and mutilation of 1,200 Israeli citizens on October 7, and then subsequently kidnapped over 200 more Israelis, who were raped and tortured in captivity.

  1. Vernon Ryan says:

Pharaoh meant to bring an end to the Jews, just like Hitler, Hamas, has hopes to be the end of the Jews as well, but maybe the Lord will use Hamas to be the end of Islamic terror. Evil begets evil, when evil is fully exposed, it brings its own end. The evil of Hamas and its associates is at the brink of being fully exposed, its end is near. Just like, Pharaoh and Hitler.

Pharaoh was the king of the world and I don’t think Hamas is more than an Islamic terror group. Current kings would include Iran, Russia and China but I think the title would have to go to Joe Biden. His appeasement of Iran released billions of dollars to the cause of terror. The article on “Biden willing to throw Israel under the bus” reports disturbing acts from him opposing the defeat of Hamas, to wanting Iran to be the regional power of the Middle East. He prefers to appease anti-American, anti-Israeli Arabs for election votes than support America’s friend, Israel. The world’s Pharaohs were defeated at Calvary along with their spiritual master. Israel and the church can now enjoy every Passover that celebrates the victory of the Lamb until Messiah returns. The world’s Pharaohs, Haman’s and Herod’s have but a short time left and they know it. Rev 12:12.
