For two years, the Palestinians were in the spotlight, but they had nothing to offer except standstill and accusations. While the Palestinians desperately try to defend their accustomed suffering against the floods and storms of winter, the world looks away. Not out of malice, but out of exhaustion. The world’s attention is a finite resource, and it flows to where history is truly being written today: in the courageous struggle for freedom of the Iranian people. The fate of Persia is a geopolitical earthquake that degrades the Gaza Strip to mere background noise.
