On the morning of October 7, 2023, Dr. Tarek Abu Arar was on his way to a shift at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon when he stumbled into the Hamas invasion of southern Israel. Believing he was a Jew, terrorists stopped his car and shot the good doctor. Even after speaking to them in fluent Arabic and establishing that he was a Muslim by accurately quoting from the Koran, they still branded him a traitor because, as he told us in the interview below, he’d always been a proud Israeli.
So the Hamas monsters tied Tarek to a light pole to act as a shield against an Air Force strike on their position, and then proceeded to kill every Israeli that entered the intersection. This lasted for two-and-a-half hours. All this time, Tarek was slowly bleeding to death, and suffering unimaginable mental torture as he, a doctor sworn to save lives, watched helplessly as innocent men, women and children were slaughtered before his eyes.
