Two weeks after the start of Operation Roaring Lion, the Israel Defense Forces published an initial assessment of attacks against Iran and Hezbollah. According to the IDF, the Israel Air Force has so far carried out more than 7,600 attacks on targets in Iran as well as over 1,100 attacks in Lebanon.
The strikes primarily targeted military facilities of the Iranian regime, infrastructure of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), as well as strategic installations of Iran’s missile program.

• ~7,600 total strikes including:

A key focus of the campaign is the destruction of Iran’s missile capabilities. According to the IDF, more than 4,700 of the attacks aimed to destroy or significantly damage production facilities, launch ramps, and infrastructure for ballistic missiles. This included, among other things, missile storage sites, underground facilities, and installations for the development and production of missile components.
In addition to the missile infrastructure, Israel also struck IRGC facilities as well as other military installations of the regime. Thousands of operational forces affiliated with the regime were eliminated in the process.
Washington also assesses the impact of the attacks as significant. The White House stated over the weekend that Iran’s ballistic missile capability has now been “functionally destroyed,” while the Iranian navy is considered largely combat-ineffective.
Attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon
Israel has also intensified its attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon. According to the IDF, at least 380 fighters from the elite Radwan unit have been killed. The attacks targeted, among other things, missile launch ramps, weapons depots, command centers, as well as positions of the terrorist organization’s special forces along the Israeli-Lebanese border.
