It is said in Israeli and Arab media that Gaza-based Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has not only lost touch with the Hamas political leadership in Qatar, but also with the reality above ground in Gaza. Sinwar probably hasn’t seen the blue sky since October 7th, because since then he has been hiding somewhere underground with his family. It is now confirmed that tension is brewing between Sinwar and his colleagues in Qatar. Khaled Mashal and Ismail Haniyeh are said to have known nothing about the attack on October 7th. Or do they want to place all the blame on Sinwar following the latest UN report acknowledging that Hamas terrorists raped Israeli women en masse on October 7th? Because of the media from other nations being involved in the Oct.7 attack, I can only see this as an attempt by the bigger players to cover their own behinds. Even the money put back into the support of Hamas and on a smaller basis, the Palestinians, by the US, it all had something to do with the whole idea of the attack. What went wrong was, the Israeli’s took it all wrong and went for the throat this time, that wasn’t figured into possible consequences.
To regain face, those bigger people are now trying to defeat Israel by forcing a cease fire they might be able to manipulate into a longer time frame. The bigger players don’t control time, and He who does, has Israels back.
