MembersTachles with Aviel – Israel’s dilemma between logic and emotion

It was not Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who murdered the six hostages, but the Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

When the Israeli soldiers approached the underground tunnel, the six Israelis—Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Carmel Gat, Alexander Lobanov, Almog Sarusi and Ori Danino—were brutally murdered with “shots to the head and heart.” “The bodies were still warm when the Israeli soldiers reached the tunnel,” a security source told me. If there is someone (Bibi) who blocks a hostage rescue to prevent the fall of the government, could there also be someone (an opponent) who deliberately pushes for a hostage rescue to topple the right-wing government?

The recovery of the bodies of the six hostages has deeply shaken the State of Israel and its citizens. Due to the ongoing neglect of the hostages, social networks have been flooded with criticism of the government and its head, Benjamin Netanyahu, with some users referring to the past September as “Netanyahu’s Black September.” The media blamed the government and Netanyahu, saying the blood of the slain hostages is on their hands. Unfortunately, we have reached a point where military pressure...

Whether we like it or not, Smotrich and Ben-Gvir seem to have the best understanding of the situation (the bigger picture). ie; if you give Hamas an inch, they will take a mile !

  2. Susan says:

Netanyahu is in an impossible situation: if he obeys God, the people complain; if he obeys the people who love their relatives, he separates himself from God’s command not to make a covenant with these wicked people. “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and HE will lift you up🙏” The solution looks political, but is spiritual: Love the Lord with all your heart, and, as He told Abraham: “Now I know that you love Me!”

  3. Taylor Sealy says:

Netanyahu seems to be the sane person in the room. I am sorry for the hostages but it seems like the hostage families and supporters are not thinking of the price the IDF soldiers are paying for their interference in the war against Hamas, being very effectively carried out so far.

  4. Vernon Ryan says:

Sadly, there are not 101 hostages, there are half the population of Israel being held hostage. Those doing all the protesting are being very effectively used as hostages and human shields for Hamas, everything they do against the government is an advantage for Hamas and Islam in their jihad against Israel as a nation. The protesters are making it much easier for the enemy’s of Israel to defeat her. The IDF has already paid a very heavy price for the release of the hostages, the protesters are helping to make that price even heavier by every action they take against the government. None of the Israeli people who have relatives being held have any, zero, none, zilch, promise from Hamas that even one more hostage will be released. Hamas has nothing to lose by killing all those who are left, and it looks like they will kill the rest just because they can do so.
The hardest and best thing the Israeli people can do now is to prepare your hearts for the worst, and give those hostages who are still alive into the hands of God and bring this war quickly to an end in victory over your enemy. There has never been a war without pain, thus far, this one is no different.
