While the missiles are silent for now, sanctions, naval blockades, threats, and nerves of steel are battling one another. The Strait of Hormuz is more than a narrow sea passage; it is the choke point of the global economy and the symbol of a global stress test. Behind diplomatic games often stand existential questions. For Israel, the Iranian nuclear program is not an abstract strategy, but a matter of survival. For Europe, it is mainly a question of oil prices, inflation, and stability. For Washington and Tehran, it is a power game. Once again, three worlds collide: Israel’s security logic, Europe’s economic logic, and Iran’s game of patience. Whoever blinks first could lose. Whoever miscalculates could ignite the entire region.
