MembersTachles with Aviel – Israel’s wartime political woes

In just a matter of months, Israel has squandered unprecedented global support to legitimately defend itself against its enemies.

By Aviel Schneider | | Topics: Gaza, Hamas

The whole world is against Israel. This has nothing to do with facts, justice or truth. It is the usual fate of Israel, whose war in Gaza has sparked global outrage, chaos and condemnation of the Jewish state. Governments in the West are afraid of the growing anger in their own nations and are punishing Israel for it. To appease the protesters in their countries, they criticize and judge Israel. God’s prophetic agenda drives peoples and governments into spiritual and political madness. “The lie has become the world order,” as Franz Kafka said. And again Israel is pushed into a corner. “God pushes Israel into a corner so that she will look to Him,” say the rabbis. It seems as if the nations want to wipe away all of Israel’s achievements and success. And in the midst of this crisis, Israel also makes tactical political mistakes.

Israel is accused of genocide in the Gaza Strip, which is why the International Criminal Court wants to arrest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant. In fairness,...

  1. Disciple 1978 says:

God re-established Israel at the perfect time to reveal the nation’s attitudes to Him. Worldwide media ensures up to date responses to Israel’s troubles. Where does the world stand with regards to truth, justice, love and mercy? It’ll tell you it’s above reproach, but as the tree is known by its fruit so the world constantly reveres evil. 2000 years of God’s grace through Christ haven’t opened its heart to God, it still desires a world leader more. (John 5:43)
Man is jealous of God’s self-existence and rails to believe he is self-existent. His idolatry gives him assurance, but God is not mocked, what a man sows he will reap. God will not give his glory another, (Is 48:11) so man must repent or perish. The nations must enthrone Christ, including his Jewishness, or perish.

      Well said! Disciple 1978.

      Jeremiah 7:22-23 KJV

22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

  2. Miguel V. Amaro says:

God Bless Israel Now and Forever, Amen!

  3. Masami Cobley says:

“squandered”? Is there any prophecy or revelation in the whole Scripture that says Israel to be supported by the nations? The answer would be “None”.

On the contrary to what you say – Israel squandering “global support” – scriptures teach us that it is the Lord God who allows the nations to stand against Israel, so that on the day of the Lord, He shall vindicate His people and judge severely all the nations that fought against Israel, don’t they?

  4. psalm100al says:

Yes, that’s true Masami and only a remnant of Israel will be left after the time of Jacob’s trouble, but God will fight for Israel at the second coming of Jesus Christ and all the nations armies will be blasted by God.
In this time of grace, it would be well with believers in Jesus Christ in Israel to get out there and introduce the orthodox and secular Jews to turn their Messiah before the great tribulation begins. That applies to all Christians!

  5. psalm100al says:

Is it wise to make public the horrors of Oct. 7 to the nations which are swamped in pornography? Would it not feed their disgusting lusts?

  6. Johanel Rosenbaum says:

Dear Aviel, you are more right than right. But you forgot the fear in Western countries, not only of pro-Islamist policies, but also the fear of being personally killed by Islamist murderers.
As I said until 10/7: Israel must break out of the discussion with itself. It must tell the truth through its own channels, on social media, in foreign languages, especially in German, French and Swedish. It has to get out of its own country.
I believe in HIM, but HE did not protect us from a Shoa. It is our own duty to protect all our people worldwide.
I wrote from Germany three months ago that Israel must release the footage of 7/10. I understand why the Bibi government doesn’t. For reasons of civilization. But this is completely wrong. The world needs to see it, but not in their own press. Israel needs to run an Israeli channel for itself in all languages.

  7. Johanel Rosenbaum says:

And of course: Israel must not only destroy Hamas, but also UNWRA. But also: we must accept that a new Shoa is looming. The biggest mistake of the last one was that we accepted it for too long. We rejected Zionism for too long. Our salvation was ultimately brave young men and women who led our people in the Hagannah and the Irgun into a state.
That is exactly what we need again now. And we have every right to do so, because our lives are at stake.
