Since the recent war with Gaza back in the spring, our Jerusalem-based Israel Today news agency has been under attack. Over the past 3 months, haters of Israel have advanced attacks to shut down Israel Today from publishing our pro-Israel and pro-God of Israel reports to our readers around the world.
As the war raged, and despite the troubles, you kept battling, clicking and waiting, refreshing and updating, patiently enduring for long periods to reach our safe site. It was exhausting, and still, like good soldiers, you endured.
When it became clear that our backup units (our servers) couldn’t handle the mass of attacks, in a clandestine midnight maneuver, we moved our defense units to a more secure and better equipped site. We are now running at new faster speeds, leaving the haters in the dust (and you should find your experience with Israel Today far more satisfying and stable).
But like in any battle, we suffered serious losses. Over half of our readers (not Members, thank you very much) went AWOL, and I get it. If I went to the depot to get more ammunition and it was closed, I wouldn’t go back because the enemy is lurking everywhere, and I need ammo now!
As one of the commanders at our Jerusalem-based Zionist outpost, I have to commend you, Members of the Israel Today army. You, our faithful Members from around the world have been a bright shining star in this battle. You had our backs and stood with us through the long hours and days, and knowing that you are there encouraged us to keep pressing forward in the battle for Israel.
I admit there were days when I wanted to give up when confronted with the intensity of the battle, and even with all our desperate efforts our unit kept being shut down. That’s when I would look back and see you, still digging in, still believing in what we do. I knew then and there we must keep pushing forward.
Thank you and we salute you, faithful Members of Israel Today.
