Preparations for Christmas in the Holy Land

Santa Claus poses for photographers as the Old City of Jerusalem is decorated for this festive season. Take a look for yourself!

It almost certainly won’t be a “white” Christmas in Jerusalem, but the municipality is nevertheless determined to get into the spirit of the season by decorating the iconic Old City.

Meanwhile, Santa Claus is already rehearsing his performance with his (flying?) camel, with which he is distributing gifts to the children of the Israeli capital.

While he doesn’t seem to have any gifts for tourists, for a small donation you can have your picture taken with him.

  1. Susan says:

It saddens me that “santa” has a place in Israel. There is but One who knows who’s naughty of nice! There is but one gift giver! What is so right about placing another god before our children? “I will have no other gods before Me.”

Instead of santa claus, it should be referred to as “Satan’s Claws”.
