The current social unrest in Israel is being followed closely by the so-called ‘resistance axis’, the loose Iranian-led coalition of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hezbollah, Shiite militias, and Palestinian terror groups.

Hezbollah has been most vocal in its responses to increased unrest in Israel and apparently believes that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has lost strength after some IDF reservists again announced that they were no longer willing to serve in the army due to the judicial reform in Israel.
Hezbollah’s increasing provocations led to a special meeting of the Israeli security establishment last week.
During this meeting, the heads of the IDF Operations Department and the IDF Intelligence Directorate (AMAN) gave their assessment of the current situation to security cabinet ministers.
These military and intelligence experts expect Hezbollah to step up its provocations along Israel’s border with Lebanon now that Israel is perceived to be weak.
