Catholic Church officials in Jerusalem claimed on Saturday that Israeli forces in Gaza had intentionally targeted and murdered local Christians. The IDF Spokesperson told Israel Today this is patently false.

In its statement, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem reported that “a sniper of the IDF murdered two Christian women inside the Holy Family Parish in Gaza, where the majority of Christian families has taken refuge since the start of the war.”

It identified the victims as a woman named Nahida and her daughter, Samar. According to the patriarch, Israeli troops then opened fire on other Christians inside the compound, wounding seven.

Church officials insisted there were no belligerents inside the compound, and that the victims were “shot in cold blood.”

The statement went on to claim that earlier that same day, the IDF fired shells at another Christian facility, the Convent of the Sisters of Mother Theresa (Missionaries of Charity), where disabled Christians are taking shelter.

Cui Bono? Who benefits? Israel? No. If Israel did such a thing, all support would vanish overnight. Committed Christian Zionists would be in despair.

Hamas? They don’t like Christians any more than Jews. If they can blame Jews, all the better, from their point of view.

Catholicism has nothing to do with true Christianity! The Catholic Church is just as much an enemy of Israel as well as true Christians and their past history is testament to the same atrocities being carried out by them as does Hamas and their proxies. Read Foxes Book of Martyrs and Revelation 17-18 to see the truth of what Almighty God tells us of her, the great whore, Mystery Babylon.

Agree with Psalm100al. The Crusades was just one glaring escapade of the Holy Roman Empire. Their engagement in WW2 much more more subtle. Their intrigue and subtle diplomacy is embedded in nations, religions, cultures and governments all over the world. Well named the great whore and Mystery Babylon.

Although I do not subscribe to catholic doctrines nonetheless many Catholics are true believers and maintain an intense faith in Yeshua, we should not support any factions within the body of Messiah. If indeed these people were harmed intentionally or unintentionally it makes no difference we share in their loss and sadness. For when one part of the body hurts all parts hurt.
