I’m writing these lines—and I can hardly believe it myself: Almost two years have passed since October 7, 2023. Twenty-two months, and we’re still stuck in this desperate situation. The greatest tragedy, is caused by the press, both in and outwith Israel. Why is the press talking about every opinion, and discussion during this war so that Hamas can manipulate both us and the world. There should be be a total news blackout of what the government and IDF is doing.
It seems Hamas is hiding behind human shields and a portion of Israeli society is hiding behind its religion. I have read that there are those among them who want to serve their country but are being held back by their elders, why? Doesn’t the freedom of religion allow the younger generations to think for themselves? Does it not allow them to do their own will as they follow the Lord? The Lord goes to battle for us, are we not allowed to go to battle for Him and allow us to learn how to battle those who are not only our enemies, but the enemies of the Lord as well? Those answers come not only by reading and knowing His word, but by experiencing the heat of the refining fires as well.
