People imitate someone, dress like their role model, adopt their style, language, and path. Marketing firms immediately recognize this potential and hire them as influencers. This results in a spiral of ever more followers, superficially fueled by apparent inspiration, but also thanks to external influence. Long before algorithms decided who is important and who is not, someone spoke these words with a completely different intention: God Himself. Today, we chase likes, reach, validation, and in the process often lose our orientation. The first real “follow button” was not pressed on a screen, but in the heart.
