Iran has once again fired ballistic missiles at central Israel. On Tuesday morning, sirens sounded across large parts of the country as another wave of attacks hit the Israeli home front within the span of just a few hours.

According to the Magen David Adom emergency service, six people were lightly injured. Most sustained their injuries from the blast waves of the impacts and were taken for treatment to Sheba Medical Center and Ma’ayanei HaYeshua Hospital.

In addition, emergency teams treated several people suffering from anxiety as well as individuals who were injured while running to shelters.

The volunteer emergency organization United Hatzalah also reported widespread damage. In total, 29 impact sites were identified in the center of the country. No serious injuries were initially reported. In Bnei Brak, however, five people—including children and infants—required treatment for light injuries.

Alongside the injuries, there was also significant property damage. Homes and vehicles were damaged by the impacts, in some cases severely. Rescue teams and psychological support personnel were deployed to assist those affected.

The Israeli military said search-and-rescue units—both regular forces and reservists—were operating at several impact sites in central Israel. Authorities urged the public to stay away from the affected areas and follow the instructions of the Home Front Command.

According to military figures, the majority of the missiles were intercepted. Even so, the numerous impacts once again show that the attacks are directly hitting Israel’s civilian population. The repeated waves of attacks within a short period also underscore the continuing intensity of the assault—and make clear that the Israeli home front remains a target.
