The conflict over Iran is no longer merely a regional confrontation between Israel, the United States and the Islamic Republic. Iran today is not only a regional aggressor, but increasingly part of a global power struggle between China and the United States over energy, trade routes and geopolitical control. Terror-financing expert Ella Rosenberg put it unusually bluntly: Iran has effectively become a “front line for China in the global energy war.”
