The Israeli navy has successfully mounted and tested its vaunted Iron Dome anti-missile system on warships patrolling the country’s Mediterranean coast.

Yesterday, the navy released a video of the tests, which took place in February.

Officials say that being able to make use of the Iron Dome at sea will enable Israel to more effectively protect its strategic natural gas reserves.
