Three events occurred lately that hold a significant lesson concerning the status of Jews. The first is the European Court for Human Rights’ decision which says that from now on activists with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement can’t be prosecuted. This decision turns Israel into the Jew of the nations, into a pariah whose legitimacy has been destroyed, and means that from now on Israel as a nation falls under the category of human rights and freedom of speech. This despite the fact that the hateful rhetoric of the BDS has already inspired murderousness, like that of the French terrorist Mohammed Merah, who, in 2012, murdered seven people in Southern France because, he said, he wanted to avenge the “children of Gaza.”
The second event is of the same kind: The decision by the International Criminal Court in The Hague to prosecute Israel for “war crimes,” and while at it, why not “crimes against humanity”?
