Israeli Arabs launch campaign for coexistence

The Israeli Arab news portal Bokra (Tomorrow) and the grassroots initiative Talking Coexistence have teamed up for a new initiative called Erasing the Hate.

The target audience is the Israeli Arab sector. Campaign billboards have been placed at the entrance to Arab cities and villages, as well as on Arabic-language media and social networks.

“There is no real solution other than lowering the flames of hatred and incitement in all sectors of Israeli society,” says Ghada Zoabi, the owner of Bokra and initiator of the campaign. “We must remember, even in difficult times, that we are all sons and daughters of this land.”

The project is based on a survey conducted among Israeli Arabs which revealed great concern over escalating racial tension and incitement and the negative implications...
