Fire on Seven Fronts: The IDF’s Historic War Balance Sheet for 2025

The figures now released are not mere statistics, but the record of a total war fought on seven fronts: from destroyed nuclear facilities in Iran, through the decimated Hamas leadership in Gaza, to radar installations in Yemen. Around 20,900 targets were struck across all fronts during the year, and approximately 430 operations were conducted in all theaters of operation. More than 300,000 reservists left their civilian lives behind in 2025 to fight on fronts stretching from the coasts of Yemen deep into the Iranian heartland. The IDF annual report presents a military force that has reinvented itself—deadlier, more precise, and prepared to take the fight directly to the enemy. This is the balance sheet of a year in which Israel decided to take the fate of its very existence fully into its own hands.
