Since ancient times, biblical prophets have interpreted history not as a mere stream of chance but as a path from which the people of Israel must not stray from their divine calling without facing consequences. From this perspective, the catastrophe of October 7, 2023, appears not only as an attack on the state’s security but as a wake-up call to the collective conscience. The war that has raged since then has not only a strategic and military dimension but also a spiritual one. Between despair and breakthrough, judgment and grace, the profound mystery of Jewish existence is revealed: time and again, the path leads through darkness—yet salvation is promised. 1. Steven Feltovich says:

The God of Israel is a God of justice, judgement, mercy and righteousness.

The question that absolutely must be confronted: is the Nova Music Festival and other activities in Israel pleasing to a holy and righteous God?

Was the festival glorifying God in holiness and righteousness? Was it a display of godliness and the keeping of the commandments, or was it an abomination to God?

The Bible clearly states that throughout the world’s history, when the people of Israel rebelled against God’s statutes and commandments, God allowed their enemies to overtake them.

Yes, because of God’s covenant with Israel, He always returns to help in the greatest time of need in order to show His power, might, and everlasting covenant.

However, God’s chastening is to ultimately get the people to repent of their sins; and to cleanse the nation of its ungodly behavior. It’s a wake-up call to returning to God on His terms; and it’s the time for casting off our personal sins which so easily beset the people/nation.

    Jeremiah 6:19 Torah
Hearken, O earth, behold, I bring evil to this people, the fruit of their thoughts, for they did not hearken to My words, and they rejected My instruction.
