In the media, whether religious, Orthodox or secular, everyone seems to be looking to God. Yom Kippur is one of the holiest and most peaceful days in Israel, a unique time to reflect and understand our connection with God.

Man was created in the image of God! Is that like a selfie with God? This idea appears in the new album “Donda” by Kanye West, in which colleague Jay-Z is of the opinion: “Made in the image of God, that’s a selfie.” Neither of the rappers are theologians, but both play with words and language to understand and explain God. It has never been easy to characterize and visualize God in human language and according to our understanding. Theologians, scientists and artists have grappled with this for centuries.
