A Hezbollah rocket fired from Lebanon killed an Israeli man in his 30s in the northern city of Nahariya on Thursday.
During the barrage of ten rockets fired at Nahariya and surrounding areas, one of the rockets struck a park in the city and the man was hit by shrapnel.
Magen David Adom (MDA) initially reported that a man was seriously injured in the impact and announced his death shortly afterward.
A man aged about 30 was murdered Thursday morning in a rocket strike on Nahariya.

MDA paramedice Dor Vaknin reported: “We arrived at the playground where there was damage from a rocket strike. We saw a man in his 30s lying unconscious with shrapnel wounds. We performed medical assessments, but unfortunately, his injuries were critical. He showed no signs of life, and we had to declare his death.”
After the sirens sounded, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed that “about 10 projectiles were identified coming from Lebanon. Most of the projectiles were intercepted and falling shrapnel was identified.”
