A rich tradition informs us that there is a continuation of this life, in which everything one experiences in this period makes sense. Jews call this life after death Olam haBa (“World to Come”) and Gan Eden (“Garden of Eden”). Belief in life after death is at the core of Judaism. It is a cornerstone without which the entire structure would collapse.
The soul
It begins with the belief that a spark of the divine dwells within man. In Hebrew, this is called neshamah. Neshamah literally means “breath.” One can imagine this as God breathing within the human body, as in the scene where God formed Adam from the earth: “and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living soul…” (Genesis 2:7)
The neshamah lived a heavenly life before entering the earthly body, and it will live an even higher life afterward. For the neshamah, life in this body is merely a corridor on the way to a higher place.

How do Jews get to heaven?
The same way gentiles do.
Whether Jews believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God or not, doesn’t change the fact that He is.
He came to earth unto His own people and was rejected, crucified, died, and rose from the dead.
Those disciples who were there saw Him come back to life; spent time with Him; and watched Him ascend to heaven. And then, the rest of the Bible called the New Testament was documented, and validated based on the prophecy contained in the old books of the Bible.
Accepting Jesus as the propitiation for our sinful state is a requirement. Repentance of our sins and a committed change of behavior and actions is spoken of, and instructed by, the Apostle Paul.
Jesus said in John 14:6 KJV
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
How close are we to the return of Christ to rule from the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem?
The Return of Jesus to Jerusalem is Recorded in Acts 1:9-12.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
So, how do we get to heaven?
Fear God and keep His commandments.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
And accept His Son Jesus as the only mediator between man and God – the direct relationship – the Son and Father.
Matthew 22:36-40 KJV
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Jesus stated very clearly as to what the requirements are in order to obtain entry into heaven.
Matthew 10:33 KJV
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
It is vital to be in [one] spirit with God, working unto His calling and not entangled in the religions of this world. The God of Israel is not the God of religions! His is the God of righteousness.
