Israel Vlog: Praying at the Western Wall

Join Oriel Moran for a personal tour through Jerusalem’s Old City, highlighted by an emotional and powerful visit to the Western Wall of the Temple Mount.

“The Western Wall is one of those really unique places that millions and millions of people have come to pray at this place. Furthermore, on the other side, on Mount Moriah, where the Temple actually was, there is the Dome of the Rock. In the place where the Temple used to be there is a Muslim mosque.

“I see the warfare over this city in such an intense way, because God said, ‘This is the place where I chose to put MY name.’ And the Devil is trying to really stick it in His face by saying, ‘You know what, I’m going to stay right here.’

“It’s going to come to an end at some point, and God is going to reclaim this city unto Himself. And it’s very challenging to think, ‘What is my part in the salvation of my people?'”

I’m 74 years old. I went to Israel in 2003 as part of a church tour. I’ve never been able to visit again due to life and family situations. I’ve become an avid reader of Israel Today and enjoy all of the writers, especially the ones who write about Jewish and Israeli history from the time of Theodore Herzl.
