Two Israeli teenage girls were wounded Sunday evening in a car-ramming attack at the Gush Etzion Junction in Judea, according to Israeli emergency responders and the military.
Magen David Adom said its teams treated a 17-year-old girl in serious condition after she suffered severe injuries to her lower body. Paramedics stabilized her at the scene, including stopping major bleeding, before evacuating her by mobile intensive care unit to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where she was taken into surgery.
A second victim, a 15-year-old girl, was moderately wounded with facial injuries and was also transported for hospital treatment.
The Israel Defense Forces said a soldier at the scene responded quickly and neutralized the attacker. The assailant’s condition was not immediately reported.
Local leaders condemned the attack and called for continued security pressure against Palestinian terrorist networks in Judea and Samaria. Yisrael Ganz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, said attacks on civilians would not weaken Israeli resolve, arguing that the response must include both counter-terror operations and the strengthening of Jewish communities in the region.
Gush Etzion Regional Council head Yaron Rosenthal said the attack marked another painful day for the bloc, whose Jewish presence he noted stretches back a century.
The incident comes amid a persistent wave of Palestinian attacks in Judea and Samaria. According to Rescuers Without Borders, Israelis were targeted in more than 5,000 attacks across the territory in 2025, including rock-throwing, firebombings, explosive attacks and shootings.
