Conflict in the name of religion isn’t politically-correct.

That’s why our liberal societies, Israel’s included, have worked so hard to paint the Israeli-Arab conflict as purely a matter of nationalism. Even the term “Israeli-Arab conflict” is part of this effort. In truth, it is a Jewish-Islamic conflict, since the whole of the Islamic world, both Arabs and nonArabs, stand opposed not to the whole of Israel’s citizenry, but to its ruling Jewish majority

And, of course, no part of this conflict is more religiously relevant than Jerusalem, the Holy City itself.

Speaking at a summit organized by the Israeli government to better inform Christian media, Middle East expert Dr. Mordechai Kedar explained that what most see as a simple conflict over land is in reality “a struggle for Islam’s validity.”
