Israel is happy for every tourist it receives.

And it’s had a lot of reasons to be happy this year. In the first half of 2018, no fewer than 2.1 million tourists arrived in Israel, 19 percent more than the same period last year. This resulted in the Israeli economy being boosted by a whopping 12 billion shekels ($3.3 billion).
