Palestinians Rally to Praise Jerusalem Bus Bomber

Terrorist dies two days after bombing Jerusalem bus; Palestinians celebrate attack with candies, rallies

Hundreds of Palestinian Arabs rallied near Bethlehem on Wednesday to sing the praises of Abdel Hamid Abu Srour, 19, who died of his injuries earlier in the day, two days after detonating a bomb on a Jerusalem city bus.

Twenty other people were wounded, including one Israeli teenager who remains in serious condition, when Abu Srour carried out a suicide bombing Monday near Jerusalem’s Talpiot industrial area.

The bus he was on and an adjacent bus were both engulfed in flames.

Despite his heinous crime, Abu Srour, like all wounded terrorists, was taken to an Israeli hospital where doctors worked feverishly to save his life.

Following his death, Hamas issued a statement claiming Abu Srour had carried out the bombing on their behalf.

Palestinians across Judea, Samaria and Gaza, including Abu Srour’s own family, passed out candies to celebrate his violent act against Israeli civilians.

During the rally at the Abu Srour home near Bethlehem on Wednesday, demonstrators chanted pro-Hamas slogans, vowing to spill even more Jewish blood.
