Israel’s campaign against the Islamic Republic continues to widen in both scope and precision.

According to the IDF, more than 3,000 targets in Iran have been struck since the launch of Operation Roaring Lion, in what the military described as a sustained assault on the regime’s central systems and operational capabilities.

Monday’s strikes reportedly focused on regime targets tied to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including what Israel identified as its main security headquarters. Overnight, the Israeli Air Force followed with another wave of attacks, hitting more than 50 additional targets, among them ballistic missile storage facilities and launch sites.

The message is becoming difficult to miss: this is not a symbolic exchange. Israel is systematically degrading the architecture that allows the regime to threaten the region.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that he had spoken with US President Donald Trump regarding the possibility of an arrangement with Iran, even as the military campaign continued. Speaking in Hebrew, Netanyahu said Trump sees an opening to use the gains already made, together with US military support, to achieve the war’s objectives through an agreement.

At the same time, Netanyahu made clear that Israel is not easing pressure. He said the country is continuing to dismantle Tehran’s missile and nuclear programs while also maintaining operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon. He added that two more nuclear scientists had been eliminated in recent days, and reiterated that Israel would protect its vital interests under all circumstances.

The statement followed Trump’s announcement that he had ordered a five-day pause in US strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure after negotiations with Tehran.

That pause, however, has not altered the broader reality: Israel is still moving decisively against the regime’s military depth, and doing so with growing confidence.
