Spring Desert Adventure – Day 1

Israel Today again sets off into the biblical Negev desert with a group of our loyal readers and lovers of Israel

Yesterday, our third desert adventure began in the south of Israel. A total of 33 participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland met in Tel Aviv and then traveled to the heart of the Negev desert for final preparation before setting off.

We first visited the tomb of David Ben Gurion in Sde Boker under a clear blue sky. March is supposed to already be a warmer month with little, if any, rainfall. But, the coming days do promise some precipitation.

What's really striking is how much life the winter rains have brough to this desert region. It is simply a festival of colors.

Be sure to check back each day for the next week and join us as we explore the biblical desert!
