The Four Seas of the Holy Land
For such a small country, Israel features a selection of unique seaside experiences
Anyone who has ever been to Israel knows the country is unique. And it’s not just the people, nature and diverse locales that make the small Jewish state so special. It’s geographical location is likewise remarkable, bordered as it is by four seas: the Red Sea to the south; the Dead Sea to the east; the Mediterranean to the west; and the Sea of Galilee to the north. Both locals and tourist have plenty of opportunities to cool down during the summer, and in this region, that’s a real blessing. Israelis make abundant use of the beaches, which differ greatly depending on which sea you choose to visit. Definitely something to remember the next time you’re in Israel.
