(JNS) What the world just watched over the last two years is not some random flare-up of violence. This ceasefire deal? It’s not peace. Not even close. It’s a pause in a war that has never ended. A war that started long before Hamas. Long before the PLO. Long before there was ever a “Palestinian cause.”

This is the same war that the Arab Muslim countries launched against Israel back in 1948. It is the 77th year of a war to destroy the one and only Jewish state, continuing a 1,400-year-plus Islamic jihad ideology.

Oct. 7, 2023 was not just a terror attack. It was a revelation. It tore off the mask for all to see, not just the evil of Hamas, but the moral rot of an entire global ecosystem of jihad, rooted deep in international organizations, that enables and applauds it.

“Civilians” and “non-combatants” participated in the Oct. 7 atrocities, not just armed terrorists. It was celebrated as they paraded our hostages through the Gaza streets, held them captive in their homes. Every Gaza citizen ignored the $5 million Israeli reward for offering information to save a single hostage.

It was children, women, teachers, doctors, UN officials and “human-rights activists,” who celebrated, participated and live-streamed their glee as Jews were raped, butchered and kidnapped.

And yet, the world still thinks peace is possible? The same world that watched brutally raped and disfigured dead Israeli women be paraded through Gaza and responded with moral paralysis?

The TikTok generation in Israel, so often dismissed as distracted or disconnected, has proven itself to be made of the strongest steel. These young men and women, raised in the age of social media and short attention spans, are showing the world what true clarity and courage look like. They’re not confused by decades of failed appeasement or the lies of global media narratives. They know why we are fighting. They have seen with their own eyes the evil we are fighting against.

Their posts are raw, their messages direct and their bravery—whether in uniform or online—is inspiring a new wave of Jewish pride.

They are proving to be the true lions of Zion, standing with a strength and moral clarity that cuts through the noise. While the older generation wrestles with fear and international pressure, this generation stands tall, unapologetically rooted in truth, identity and purpose. They’re not just defending Israel; they are the living, breathing spirit of Zion.

What we have witnessed on the ground in Gaza in this war is nothing short of a revolution in spirit, led not by the IDF generals in high command, but by our young soldiers on the front lines.

These brave warriors have pushed forward with conviction and purpose, overcoming the hesitancy and appeasement mindset that has plagued parts of the senior IDF and intelligence command from day one of this war.

While too many at the top questioned, delayed and pushed back against the government’s clear war goals, shaped by the will of the people to end this evil from Gaza once and for all, it’s our sons and daughters in uniform who have carried this mission on their shoulders.

They did not wait for permission to believe in victory. They know exactly what we’re fighting for, the thriving presence of the Jewish people in our land, without apology.

This generation is not held back by the fear and failed paradigms of appeasing evil from the past. They’re leading us forward with moral clarity and unshakable resolve, and frankly, we can’t wait fast enough for them to take the reins from the current military and intelligence leadership. That day is coming, and it can’t come soon enough.

The Jewish people are waking up. Israel is waking up. The lion of Zion is awakening.

This is not about politics anymore. Not left or right. Not “only Bibi” or “no Bibi.” This is about survival. This is about truth. And more and more Israelis are seeing through the lies, not just the lies of our enemies, but the lies we’ve told ourselves.

Lies such as:

“We can live side by side.”

“If we leave Gaza, we’ll get peace.”

“They hate the occupation.”

We know the only “occupation” they care about is Tel Aviv. Haifa. Jerusalem. Our existence in our ancestral homeland. All we have to do is take them at their word; they cry it out all over the world.

The horrifying truth that many Israelis are finally internalizing is that we are not just dealing with terrorists.

We’re dealing with a modern-day Amalek, a society that raises its children to hate, murder, and glorify death. A society where the youth are not victims of indoctrination, they are full participants in the same genocidal ideology.

You can’t “fix” this. You can’t “coexist” with it. It must be defeated.

The mistake many made was believing this was over. That we had somehow “won” the War of Independence. But this war never ended. 1948 was not the end. It was the beginning. The 1967, 1973 and 1982 wars were never “Palestinians” fighting us. It was the Arab Muslim countries. It was Arab nationalism mixed with Islamic jihad, and now, Qatari and Iranian-backed terror. Their goal has always been the same: to destroy Israel.

Even the whole “Palestinian” identity is a Soviet invention, created in the 1960s to delegitimize Israel through terror and media warfare. We fell for it. We empowered it. We gave them land, money and recognition; in return, they gave us exploding buses, stabbings, rockets and Oct. 7.

So no, this war—recently renamed the War of Redemption by the government—is not over. The ceasefire is not peace. At some point, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, we will have to finish what we started. We will have to eradicate the jihadist infrastructure from Gaza, Judea, and Samaria. This is not revenge. This is self-defense. It is survival.

We will rebuild. We will return. Just as we did in Jerusalem, in Hebron, in the Golan, in Gush Etzion, we will return to every inch of our ancestral homeland. Not out of vengeance, but out of clarity. With strength. With morality. With purpose.

US President Donald Trump was right about one thing: There is a refugee crisis. But the solution is not another terrorist state; it’s regional emigration. Arab countries that supported this terror for decades must finally take responsibility for their brothers and sisters. That is the humane solution. That is the peaceful solution. One that ends the cycle of violence and allows true coexistence, not based on fantasies, but on facts and reality.

Israel is a moral nation. We will never stoop to the level of our enemies. We don’t target civilians. We don’t rape. We don’t burn babies. We mourn every innocent life lost, even when our enemies do not. But morality does not mean suicide. Justice does not mean restraint in the face of evil. It means victory.

So here we are. In this generation, in this moment, the lion of Zion has opened its eyes. The question is not if we win this war. It’s when. Not if we will secure our homeland, liberate our people and restore our full sovereignty over the whole biblical Land of Israel—from Gaza to Judea and Samaria and beyond.

This is our time. History is calling. Let the world watch. Let them condemn. Let them misunderstand us. We are not here to be liked. We are not here to survive. We are here to live. We are here to thrive. We are here to win. We are here to fulfill our destiny as a nation in our ancestral homeland.

The lion of Zion is roaring—and we will not be silenced again.
