
A name caught my eye on Facebook.
We are still in the middle of these tumultuous protests in Israel against the government week after week. There is talk of a “third destruction” collapse in Israel almost like the destruction of the First and Second Temple.
Suddenly I came across a post on Facebook written by a woman named Nili. The post moved me so much that I decided to share it here with you:
“My name is Nili. What’s so special about that?

A lovely story and another example of the Bible coming to life in the land it was founded in. My English NKJV has “Strength” and NASB “Glory” but in many ways “Eternal” seems a better translation. May GOD bless Israel!

Indeed as we translated Anat’s writing from Hebrew into English we checked many Bible translations and saw the range of meaning/interpretation you refer to. We settled on eternal, since it is also the main modern Hebrew sense of the word used by the prophet — “Netsach.”
