It was the best month ever for Israeli tourism, surpassing the previous year’s figure by 14 percent. These visitors spent 2.5 billion shekels ($670 million) while here, a major boost to the Israeli economy. In total, 3.4 million tourists came to Israel this year. All indications are that 2018 will conclude as a banner year for tourism in the Holy Land.
