Members‘Where is the Christian world?’ pleads Syrian priest

Christians murdered, churches desecrated: The dimensions of the assault on Syrian Christians come to light.

The massacres committed against the Druze in the Syrian province of Sweida not only affected them but also the Christians. Some 25,000 Christians live in the region. There are over 30 churches there.

The jihadists, the regime forces and their allies, the Bedouins from the Daraa area, committed crimes against humanity when they attacked the Druze and Christians earlier this year. A high-ranking Christian representative in Sweida revealed to me that at the beginning of the events, 12 Christians were kidnapped, most of them elderly people. They were released a few days later. They were thrown onto the streets in various areas. Among the kidnapped was also a disabled child.

The Christian source said nine members of his community had been murdered, and six churches were torched. These are the churches that the jihadists entered. The remaining churches were not damaged because they did not enter them. In other words: Every church that the regime forces entered was heavily damaged.

My question exactly: Where are the Christians?
