The Christmas tree is denounced as evil, but Islamists dare not go further and forbid all things “Christian”

Yusef al-Qaradawi, one of the chief figureheads of the Muslim Brotherhood and an iconic scholar in the Islamic world, has called for a boycott of Christmas. He does this every year, forbidding sale the Christmas trees and everything related to the Christian holiday in Muslim countries.

But one must wonder, why not prohibit other aspects of Christianity, or boycott Christians altogether? In fact, why doesn’t Qaradawi himself set the example by boycotting not only the Christmas tree, but all the things in his life produced by non-Muslims in the West, China, India and elsewhere?

These Christians, atheists and secular non-Muslims are the ones who invented all this dazzling modern technology that Yusuf al-Qaradawi and his followers from the Muslim Brotherhood enjoy, and through which they incite against non-Muslims.

It was not Muslims who developed and brought the Internet into our lives, but rather Westerners like Bill Gates, who became wealthy through innovation and hard work, rather than stealing from their own people, as do so many clerics, politicians and businessmen in the Arab Muslim world.
